There are several brands owned by the Melia Company. In Punta Cana there are 2 Paradisus Hotels. The Paradisus Palma Real Resort & The Paradisus Punta Cana Resort. Both of these resorts are for adults or families. The Royal service fot adults and the Family concierge service sections are in the Reserve part of the hotels. The Christmas holiday season is one of the busiest travel times of the year. Many of the All Inclusive resorts that we work with sell, which causes travel for this time of the year to be the most expensive. I have found ten deals for the dates of December 20-27. The first resort is the New Secrets the Vine in Cancun, Mexico priced at $1428 per person. In the Riviera Maya the Iberostar Paraiso Delmar is priced at $986 per person and the Ocean Coral & Turquesa is $934. In Puerto Vallarta, Mexico the Riu Jalisco is $764 per person and the Riu Palace Pacifico is $1113 per person. In Jamaica the Gran Bahia Principe Jamaica is priced at $1133 and the Iberostar Rose Hall Beach is priced at $1223 per person. For the Dominican Republic in Punta Cana the Majestic Colonial is $1067 per person and the Iberostar Dominicana is $944 per person. In La Ramona the Gran Bahia Principe La Ramona is only $785 per person.

These prices are based on double occupancy and are All Inclusive resorts including all meals, drinks (alcohol included), taxes, tips, ground transfers, and non motorized water sports. Give us a call to add air fare from your departure city.

The Royal in Cancun is my absolutely favorite resort in Cancun!  Currently the Royal in Cancun is the number 2 top rated property out of 174 resorts in Cancun so I would have to say that most people agree with me that this property is awesome.  I think that for the person looking for an upscale, adult only, service oriented property that has plenty of daily and nightly activities, this is a perfect spot for them!  The Royal in Cancun opened in February of 2007 and it is located in the heart of Cancun’s hotel zone.  One of the coolest features of this property is how the resort runs entirely parallel from the ocean.  Meaning that every single room will have a full head on direct view of the ocean.  The lower level rooms are all swim up room categories and the rooms located in the corner of each building on the lower level have direct beach access!

All ocean view rooms are extremely spacious with double Jacuzzi’s.  Located right next to the Gran Caribe Real north of the Beach Palace, Royal Bed (trademarked) in room with pillow top mattress.  Dinning is non-reservations required at all but one restaurant with, ala carte breakfast, lunch and dinner dinning options.  Free internet in business center (free in room with royal service suites or at cost for std suites), exchange privileges with all Real Properties, “Trade Nights” with The Royal in Playa Del Carmen based on availability.  Olympic size infinity pool, 50 meter lap pool, beach beds, and awesome beach butlers.

Riu has done it again but this time in Costa Rica,  in the past few months Riu has opened a new palace hotel in Punta Cana and in Cancun.  The latest grand opening will be the Riu Palace Costa Rica. The  5-star resort,  is located in Guanacaste, Costa Rica on the edge of the beach of Matapalo.  This hotel will have the same fresh new look as the hotel in Punta Cana and Cancun.  The hotel is scheduled to open in November 2012 and we have already made several bookings.

The new Riu Palace’s have 4 ala carte restaurants and 24 hour room service.  The rooms have fully stocked mini bars and of course the signature Riu liquor dispensers.  Guests staying at the Riu Palace will also have access to the Riu Guanacaste.    I just returned from the new Riu Palace Peninsula in Cancun and the food was wonderful.  The new palace buffets are excellent and the service is second to none.

The new Riu Palace will have 4 pools and a swim up bar.   The rooms are wonderful and this hotel is offering the 2 room family suites for families traveling with children and need the adjoining room category.  The new Riu rooms are very vibrant and c0lorful a huge change in decor versus the older Riu Palace’s.  If you have been waiting to visit Costa Rica now is the time and this is the hotel.  Call us today to get the Grand Opening rates.
