“When I admire the wonder of a sunset, or the beauty of the moon, my soul expands in worship of the Creator.”

– Mahatma Gandhi

I love a good sunset. Especially when I am on vacation. I thought I would put together a quick list of some great
Sunset vacations destinations. They are in no particular order and of course all of these destinations have wonderful hotels and
many more activities to offer. The following three destinations offer some of the best Sunsets in the World.

You would have to start with Hawaii. Just about any Island will do, but Maui and Kaui are wonderful. I have also seen some marvelous sunsets on the Big Island. Due to the far west location of the Hawaiian Islands the sun sets right in your lap. The backdrop makes Hawaii one of the most beautiful places in the world to visit and view some wonderful sunsets. Hawaii has a little of everything to offer. Each island is unique but they are all simply beautiful. Hawaii is very easy to get to from the west coast but it is a long flight time from the Midwest or East Coast. DO NOT let the long flight time keep you from visiting. Hawaii is the most sought after vacation in the world. Booking a trip to Hawaii can be challenging so call us today and we can help you plan the perfect Island or Multi Island Hawaiian vacation.

Cabo San Lucas is Lands End where the famous Los Cabos arch is located. At sunset the catamarans make their way around the arch to view some truly spectacular sunsets. A sunset cruise in Cabo is a must do. Cabo has some wonderful all inclusive hotels and a world class marina. The are has world class nightlife and is considered the best deep sea fishing in the World. Cabo is widely known for it’s fishing, nightlife and great golf but it’s greatest asset is the sunsets. Come visit beautiful Cabo and be sure to take a sunset cruise during your stay !

Located on the west end of Jamaica is Negril. Negril sunsets are special to all who have witnessed. The Negril sunsets are unique compared to other places in the world. It might be the location but there is no denying the sunsets are therapeutic and calming to both the body and soul. Negril sunsets have a crazy orange hue caused by the salt particles in the air over the Caribbean. The high cliffs provide great viewing for the late sunsets. When in Jamaica Grab a Red Stripe or some Appleton Rum and sit back and view one of natures wonders. Sunset in Negril.

If your looking for great sunsets then this should get you started. Many other destinations offer great sunsets but these are my top 3. All of these destinations offer world class hotels and are easy to fly to. Each destination will have plenty to offer during the day time but as the sun begins to set you better have a camera handy. The Sun will set much faster then you think so be ready and have a camera ! Call us today to help you find the perfect trip.

Jamaica has three different main areas that we offer all inclusive resorts in.  We have resorts in Montego Bay, Negril and Ocho Rios.  When traveling to Jamaica it’s important to know the difference in these three areas to help decide where might be best for your family to stay.

Ocho Rios
:  In Ocho Rios there is a little down town area with an open air markert for shopping and site seeing.  A lot of cruise ships will arrive into Ocho Rios and drop tourists off for the day.  The most popular excursion/adventure in all of Jamaica is “Dunn’s River Falls.”  Basically Dunn’s River Falls is a natural flowing spring that flows out of the mountian side making slide like formations that are smooth enough to slide down right into the water below.  Many people spend hours at Dunn’s River with their kids.  Ocho Rios is the furthest area from the airport, taking about an hour and a half to get there.  A great family resort in Ocho Rios would be the Sunset Jamaica Grande or the Riu Ocho Rios.  If you are wanting to go with a more upscale adult only property, I highly suggest the Couples Sans Souci resort.

Jamaica has three different main areas that offer all inclusive resorts.  We have resorts in Montego Bay, Negril and Ocho Rios.  When traveling to Jamaica it’s important to know the difference in these three areas to help decide where might be best for your family to stay.

Negril Wedding CoupleNegril:  Negril has the best beaches in all of Jamaica, the “Bloody Bay” and “7 mile beach.”  In Negril you will find hotels such as the Couples Negril or Couples Swept Away as well as the Riu Palace Tropical Bay and the Riu Negril.  For sunset weddings, this is where you would want to be, many resorts here will offer multiple weddings per day.  Also for the adventure seeker, there’s a place called “Ricks Cafe” which is a bar/restaurant that is built on a cliff side that locals will dive from!  These guys dive from as high as 150 feet in some cases.  The trick is, you gotta tip them and the more you tip, the higher they go!  I myself decided to take the plunge into the ocean from Ricks Cafe but I only jumped from about 15 feet, high enough for me because nobody was giving me a tip to go higher!  Negril is a little over an hour from the airport.
