I love Puerto Vallarta, it’s an area very rich in history and culture.  Puerto Vallarta is situated around the Banderas Bay, great for surfing, water sports, deep sea fishing and many other attractions.  This area is great for families and we have some very fun places we can recommend for you.

If you are looking for the best service oriented family friendly resort, the Dreams Puerto Vallarta or Dreams Villa Magna will be the best choices.  Both of these resorts give you 24 hour room service, premium alcohol and the Explorers Kids Club which is famous for it’s kids’ camp-outs on the beach.  If you are looking for an authentic Mexican themed family resort I would recomend the Marival Resort (they also have great food!).  If you want something located outside of the normal resort areas, the Palladium Vallarta is a great choice.  The Palladium is built up on a hillside over looking the ocean with a lot of wildlife and tropical vegitation.  If you want to be closest to the downtown Marina area, the Melia Puerto Vallarta is an excellent choice with a great kids club.
