I had the chance to visit the Iberostar Grand Paraiso not long ago and absolutely enjoyed it. If your looking for adults only, luxury, fine dining and relaxation, then Iberostar Grand Paraiso should be at the top of your list. All rooms are Junior Suites equipped with indoor Jacuzzis, one king or two queen beds, a dining area and a fully furnished sitting room with a comfortable sofa, a fully stocked in-room minibar and even a hammock or swing on your balcony… what more can you ask for!
One advantage that you have by staying at the Grand is that you can use all the facilities in the rest of the Iberostar complex that consists of about five hotels and then come back to the peace and relaxation of the Grand. But if you’re looking for that more upbeat rowdy property, just remember its right next door all in walking distance.
The food was excellent in all the restaurants, from the presentation to the taste, no complaints at all. They do have a wine list included for the all inclusive, mostly wines that you could find in the states for $10 to $15 a bottle, but you do have a choice of about 10 different reds, whites and champagne as well. They do offer premium wines at extra cost, but really no need for that. Did I mention Tequila… come on you are in Mexico so you might as well try them all! I personally opted between Tequilas, Mojitos or Margarita’s; great drinks and well prepared at the different bars.
