Knowing the three different areas of Jamaica can make it easier for you to find the perfect vacation for your family. There are a lot of new hotels in Montego Bay so you can easily find a nice, new family friendly resort or if you are looking for something special, try either one of the new Secrets adult only resorts.

Jamaica has three different areas that we offer all inclusive resorts in. We have resorts in Montego Bay, Negril and Ocho Rios. When traveling to Jamaica it’s important to know the difference in these three areas to help decide where might be best for your family to stay.

Montego Bay: Montego Bay is the area closest to the Airport and this is where your flight will arrive. If you are looking for a 3 or 4 night stay, we would recommend picking a resort within in this area because your transfer will be shorter. Bascially meaning that you will have more time on your vacation and less time traveling. Within the last couple of years, a lot of the name brand resorts have built properties in Montego Bay. Hotels such as the Iberostar Rose Hall Suites, the Riu Montego Bay, Secrets Wild Orchid and the very popular Grand Palladium Jamaica/Lady Hamilton so there are a lot of nice properties to chose from. It only takes about 20 minutes to get to most Montego Bay resorts from the airport.

The destination most people have never heard of I would consider the "The diamond in the rough" on the West coast of Mexico, Its Huatulco!

The destination most people have never heard of I would consider the “The diamond in the rough” on the West coast of Mexico, Its Huatulco! Most of you have probably never heard of it but its something well worth looking into for your next All Inclusive Mexico trip. Known as the city of bays (9 in total) offers 22 miles of picturesque golden sand beaches, and some very nice deluxe modern resorts. Huatulco has some of the top hotel chains in the industry such as Secrets, Dreams, Barcelo, and Real resorts, so there’s a resort for everyone from families to Honeymooner’s. The bays in Huatulco make it a water sports lovers dream snorkeling, water kayaking, and sailing to name a few, not to mention a 18 hole championship golf course for all you golfers out there.

So if you love beautiful beaches, great mountain views, plenty of excursions, and lots of water sports or if you are looking for that “Diamond in the rough” for your next vacation Huatulco just might be the place for you. Families to Honeymoons to just a relaxing trip to true authentic feel of Mexico destination I think you will be surprised what this destination has for everyone. And I am looking forward to this being one of my places to visit in the very near future!

Not all all-inclusive resorts are created equal. The Apple Rating system is a proprietary system that was created to offer consumers the ability to effectively compare resorts relative to other similar alternatives.

What do the Apple Ratings mean?

Not all all-inclusive resorts are created equal. The Apple Rating system is a proprietary system that was created to offer consumers the ability to effectively compare resorts relative to other similar alternatives. Apple surveys customers and listens to what they have to say. In fact, Apple Vacations is the only vacation company to rate hotels based solely on customer feedback. Apple ratings apply to most hotels located in Mexico, the Caribbean, Costa Rica, and Hawaii.

Apple Hotel Ratings

Apple Hotel Ratings are based on the opinions of hundreds of thousands of Apple vacationers who complete a Vacation Satisfaction Questionnaire to offer you the most practical assessment of hotels.

6 Apples – A luxurious resort offering the highest standards and widest variety of dining and amenities

5 Apples – An excellent resort with superior first-class accommodations and guest services

4 Apples – A first-class resort hotel or condo with a good selection of guest services

3 Apples – A comfortable hotel or condo with simple accommodations and public areas

2 Apples – A modest hotel or condo with limited choice of amenities

1 Apple – A basic budget hotel or condo with few public areas or amenities

When you select a Golden Apple hotel, you can be assured that you’ve made an outstanding choice! Every year, our vacationers honor a select group of hotels with our Golden Apple Hotel Award. This award is given to those hotels who have earned exceptional ratings on our Vacation Satisfaction Questionnaires, completed by Apple vacationers upon their return home. Some are moderate and others deluxe, but all Golden Apple hotels offer an exceptional standard of quality, service and value relative to similar hotels. Keep in mind that some hotels may be too new or not received enough feedback to qualify as a Golden Apple…yet.

A plus symbol next to the Apple Rating indicates that the hotel offers services, amenities, or facilities that are superior to other hotels with the same rating.

When you are ready to book your next all-inclusive vacation, give us a call and we will help you find your perfect Dream Vacation!

It is time to take the vacation of a lifetime. Discover why the islands of Hawaii are like no other place on earth...

It is time to take the vacation of a lifetime. Discover why the islands of Hawaii are like no other place on earth: Experience the famous Waikiki beach or Pearl Harbor on Oahu. The gorgeous cliffs and waterfalls in Kauai. The volcano or deep sea fishing on the Big Island. It wont be easy to decide which island to experience. Hawaii has a 98% visitor satisfaction rating and the highest repeat visitor ratio of any destination. Once you experience the islands you are going to come back!

Oahu is sometimes called “The gathering place,” and it lives up to the name. It is the 3rd largest Hawaiian island but is home to the majority of Hawaii’s population. You can visit Pearl Harbor or the famous Waikiki beach. Spend time on the North Shore or visit the iconic Diamondhead. Oahu offers wonderful shopping, surfing and beautiful beaches.

Maui has been voted the “best island” by Conde Nast for the last 19 years. Come watch the humpback whales as they migrate to the warm waters of Maui. Even the Whales know where to vacation ! Maui has several world championship golf courses and the Haleakala national park is a must see. You can spend the day strolling the fishing village of Lahaina or take the scenic drive to Hana. Maui has something for everyone.

Hawaii island is known as the “Big Island” and it keeps on growing. It keeps growing because it is home to one of the worlds most active volcanoes Kilauea, as well as the tallest sea mountain in the world Maunakea and the most massive mountain in the world Maunaloa. The “Big Island” of Hawaii is full of natural wonders for you to enjoy. The “Big Island: is also home to championship golf course and Kona is known as one of the deep sea fishing capitals in the World. If it’s a romantic getaway or a journey off the beaten path you can discover it on Hawaii.

Kaui is known as the “island of discovery” and it is visually stunning. The soaring cliffs of the Napali coast and the 50 miles of heavenly beach are simply breathtaking! When you tour the island coast by boat or helicopter you will experience the true beauty of Kaui. Waimea Canyon is located on the west side of Kaui and is knows as the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific.” The canyon lookout provides panoramic views of the rugged crags and deep valley gorges. Kaui is great for couples and honeymooners. Most of it’s attractions are natural wonders and many consider it one of the most romantic places on earth.

If you are interested in exploring nature at it’s grandest scale then you need to come visit Hawaii. A vacation scene that can not be described with words or photos but only by experiencing them first hand. Each island is unique and together the islands form the ultimate vacation destination. If your looking for a family vacation, a honeymoon or seeking adventure then call us today and let us book a Hawaii vacation for you.

I just returned from my trip to the Iberostar Grand Paraiso in the Riviera Maya and the beaches were perfect! It was nice to hear the waves crashing in, the sea gulls flying over head and to feel the cool ocean breeze.

Personally I have been to the Iberostar Grand Paraiso in the Riviera Maya several times. While on vacation, my wife and I are generally more “pool people” than “beach people”… but not on our last trip there.

During our stay, every mid-morning we went down to the beach palapas, laid out our towels, opened up a book and simply relaxed. It was awesome to hear the sound of the waves crashing in, the sea gulls flying over our head and to feel the cool breeze coming off of the Gulf of Mexico. You will see in some of these pictures how nice these beaches are and although we stayed at the Iberostar Grand Paraiso, everyone from the Iberostar Paraiso Complex uses the same beach.

While in the ocean there were a couple places that had some larger rocks that were easy to avoid and stay away from. So, if anyone tells you that these beaches are “rocky,” I would not agree. I have seen rocky beaches and the Iberostar Playa Paraiso beaches are perfectly fine for anyone wanting to hop in the ocean, swim, play in the waves or snorkel with tropical fish.

I have been to many adult only all inclusive hotels in Mexico and the Caribbean...

I have been to many adult only all inclusive hotels in Mexico and the Caribbean. I think the food is very good at all of them so I thought I would highlight a few of my favorite ala carte restaurants at some of the finest adult only hotels in the world.

First on my list is, Mia Casa located at the El Dorado Seaside Suites in the Riviera Maya of Mexico. The El Dorado Seaside was voted by Forbes as one of the most romantic hotels in the world and this is their most romantic restaurant. Mia Casa offers traditional Italian cuisine and has a huge wine list. The ambiance and the service level puts Mia Casa at the very top of my list.

A strong second on my list is Asiana located at the Royal in Playa Del Carmen. Asiana offers contemporary gourmet Asian fusion cuisine. The decor is very stylish and it is very romantic. The food is wonderful and the service is even better. The Chef’s Plate comes in a close second at this same hotel. Nothing better then a good dinner at the hotel and drinks on 5th Avenue in Playa Del Carmen.

In a real strong third is the Lobster House at the Excellence Playa Mujeres in Playa Mujeres/Cancun, Mexico. It is an open-air thatch-roof palapa restaurant that bridges the main pool. It is open for breakfast and lunch but for dinner it is a whole new experience. The glow of soft lanterns and the reflection of the pool turn the restaurant into a wonderful atmosphere for all things lobster.

Last on my list is the lunch buffet at the Iberostar Grand Paraiso in the Riviera Maya of Mexico. I had to put it last since it is a buffet, but I have my reasons for putting it on my list. They have a grill specialty every day. It might be lobster, steaks or chicken but it is served hot off the grill ! You can order ala carte and be served or make your way through the buffet line. If you do not see what you need simply ask the waiter and it can be prepared for you. The waiters in the buffet are so attentive to your every need. It is located right next to the pool and also offers outside seating. The Iberostar Grand is #1 in the world do their ala carte restaurants are just superb. The Surf and Turk at the Grand is legendary but you will eat more meals at the buffet and you will not be disappointed.

I could of added another 20 or more to this list. As I mentioned earlier all these hotels feature amazing dining options. This was just a short list of a few of my favorites at some of the top hotels in Cancun/Riviera Maya.
