Punta Cana is one place most people don’t think of when traveling. I had the chance to visit Punta Cana a few years ago and really enjoyed the destination with its endless palm trees and beautiful beaches. I stayed at Dreams Punta Cana Resort & Spa for 4 days which, by the way, was not long enough. Upon my arrival at Dreams I was greeted with a cool towel and nice cold glass of champagne to start my endless days of fun. Once I made it to the front desk, the clerk advised me ”Mr. Welsford we have been waiting for you and your room was upgraded to a swim-out suite”, man was I stoked. Along the way as I was escorted to my room, I noticed the endless pool.

Dreams has one of the largest pools in Punta Cana, and you could literally swim from the lobby to the beach. Once I made it to my room, I noticed that the pool was just a few feet from my front door. The bell boy overheard me say “‘wow the pool is just right there” and he said “wait until you see this!”  As he opened the door I was in total wow mode with the four poster canopy bed and marble floors. I made my way to the terrace and pulled the shades open… the pool was adjacent to my terrace and I could swim right to the swim up bar from my room. I immediately got on the swim trunks and swam to the pool bar. That was only the beginning of my fun filled 4 days at Dreams Punta Cana. For the next few days it seemed as if I knew everyone, from bartenders to groundkeeper’s- they were all full of  joy and laughter. I have to say the staff at Dreams made my vacation one of the best experience’s to date.
