Vacation Specialist: Brandon Smith
My name is Brandon, I have been a travel specialist here at Dream Vacations since November 15th 2005. During that time I have sent more than 15,000 individuals on vacation to many various resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean. I love what I do, we make vacation dreams a reality! When you call me, get ready to travel because you and I will find exactly what you are looking for.

I have traveled out of the country to the following vacation spots; Aruba, Cabo San Lucas, Cancun, the Riviera Maya (7 times), Puerto Vallarta (2 times), Punta Cana and Jamaica (2 times). During these trips, a little of my time was spent relaxing but the majority of these trips have been work trips or FAMs we call them. During a FAM trip we are responsible for touring as many properties as possible so that we can be more familiar with the products we are offering. I feel that this gives me a tremedious advantage over other agencies based on personal expierence and traveler feed back.

My most recent vacation was July 29th of 2011 to the Montego Bay Jamaica. I spent three nights at the Secrets Wild Orchid adult only resort. I will be going back to the Jamaica this March to stay at the Iberostar Grand Rose Hall.

Discover the east coast of Mexico, featuring sixty miles of the resort areas, on the edge of the crystalline Caribbean Sea. Indulge in a luxurious spa, unwind on a secluded white sand beach, or dance the night away at one of Cancun’s famed discos.

Western Mexico is known for its sleepy pueblo towns inviting exploration, world-class deep sea fishing, and excellent golf courses.

Land Only prices are per person based in mid-week departures and include accommodations based on double occupancy (unless otherwise stated), hotel taxes and airport/hotel transfers separate. Restrictions: blackout dates and surcharges may apply. For booking within 14 days of departure, add $10 per person. Prices are subject to availability and change.

NEWS FLASH***   Hilton Cancun to become an Iberostar resort! ***NEWS FLASH

Iberostar Hotels & Resorts acquired the Hilton Cancun for an undisclosed amount and will rename it the Iberostar Cancun. Iberostar said when combining the purchase price and the cost of renovations, the hotel is a $100 million investment. The hotel will be Iberostar’s ninth property in Mexico (five at Playa Paraiso in the Riviera Maya; two near Playa del Carmen, also in Riviera Maya; and one in Cozumel).

Hilton will continue operating the 426-room hotel until it closes for renovations in August. It will reopen as an all-inclusive Iberostar resort on Dec. 1. “Mexico is our priority market, and this acquisition complements our brand’s offerings there,” said Miguel Fluxa, president of the Iberostar Group.

Renovations include refurbishing the main lobbies and lobby bar, building new pool terraces and adding a buffet restaurant and four specialty restaurants. Future plans call for the construction of a stage/amphitheater, a water park and a club for teens

What is a “Charter flight?”
by Brandon Smith on July 7, 2011 | No Comments »

What is a “Charter flight?” In addition to flights on major scheduled air carriers from departure cities nationwide, we offer Charter flights through our tour operators such as Apple Vacations and Funjet Vacations. These Charter flights are exclusive and only fly to the most popular sun destinations from over 20 US departure cities. Destination options such as CancunPunta Cana, Jamaica and more.

Charter flights are filled exclusively with other vacationers, traveling to the same destination. These flights are typically non-stop, with schedules that allow you to spend more time in resort. In most cases, one of the biggest benefits to our Charter flights is that your vacation package price is generally considerably less than other comparabel airlines. We use airlines such as USA3000, Sun Country, Air Tran, JetBlue, Alaska Airlines and Aeromexico.
