My name is Brandon, I have been a travel specialist here at Dream Vacations since November 15th 2005. During that time I have sent more than 12,698 individuals on vacation to many various resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean. I love what I do, we make vacation dreams a reality! I have traveled out of the country to the following vacation spots; Aruba, Cabo San Lucas, Cancun, the Riviera Maya (5 times), Puerto Vallarta (2 times), Punta Cana and Jamaica. During these trips, a little of my time was spent relaxing but the majority of these trips have been work trips or FAMs we call them. During a FAM trip we are responsible for touring as many properties as possible so that we can be more familiar with the products we are offering. I feel that this gives me a tremedious advantage over other agencies based on personal expierence and traveler feed back.
My most recent vacation was May 28th - May 31st to the Riviera Maya. I spent three nights at the El Dorado Royale Casitas. I will be going back to the Riviera Maya this October to stay at the Iberostar Grand Paraiso for my third time.

As many of you have heard, there was a devastating 7.0 earthquake in Haiti Dominican Republic yesterday afternoon. This is a very sad time for the residents and families in that area and our thoughts and prayers go out to all of them. I would like to inform our clients and our followers that this earthquake in no way has affected travelers in any of our resort areas in the Dominican Republic, mainly Punta Cana. As of today travel is as usual to these areas that we offer. If you would like further information about the earthquake, there are news reports on every news channel in the country I’m sure, MSN is usually a good source to check. If anything changes that may affect our travelers we will be sure to keep you posted.
With the new year brings the cold weather, that’s why Jamaica is an excellent option for a Valentine’s Day Getaway! In Jamaica you have some great resort options for adults wanting getaway for a weekend alone, without the kids, on the beach, with a drink in hand, at the spa……need I keep going?
In Montego Bay, you will be close to the airport so your transfer will be very quick. The resort I recommend is the new Iberostar Grand Rose Hall Resort. All rooms are junior suites, most with ocean views, 24 hour room service, gourmet dining and exchange privileges with their sister properties next door. This resort also features butler service in the rooms, at the pool and on the beach for your convenience. You will leave this property feeling pampered and well taken care of.
In Negril, the Couples Swept Away is an excellent choice! The reason you would chose Negril over any other place in Jamaica is because of the beaches; they are amazing! The Couples Swept Away is situated on the world famous Seven Mile Beach and they feature gourmet dining at six different restaurants, a 10 acre sport and fitness center, a wonderful spa and for those looking to get out and about, they offer free green fees for golfers at the Negril Hills Golf Course.
In Ocho Rios, the Couples Tower Isle is always affordable and very unique. Couples Tower is Jamaica’s original all inclusive resort for couples, situated on 19 acres of lush oceanfront property. The resort was fully renovated just last year and it looks great! When couples stay here they will be given free Dunn’s River Falls tours, catamaran cruise and a shuttle to go to downtown Ocho and party at Margaretville! Couples Tower also has its own private island with a pool bar and restaurant that is included with their all inclusive plan.
Remember the beaches in Cancun 30 years ago? The white sandy beaches with cool, clean turquoise Caribbean ocean waters? Well, they are back and better than ever. According to the Cancun Travel association $71 million dollars ($957 million pesos), have already been poured into the beach recovery project there. The recovery project will replenish more than 6.8 miles of beach on the main hotel zone of Cancun and will be finished by the end of February 2010. We have seen before and after pictures of many of these beaches that have already been completed and they look amazing! So if you were looking for a great beach vacation, don’t forget about Cancun!
