My husband and i are thinking of booking a trip in November for our 25th anniversary. To give you an idea of the type of place we would like would be “THE CAVES” in Jamaica. No mega resorts and on the ocean is a must. Any ideas?
First of all CONGRATS on your 25 years of marriage, that’s great, good for you guys! “The Caves” resort that you reference is a very unique, very cool place. I would recommend either the SUNSET AT THE PALMS, the ROYAL PLANTATION or the COUPLES SANS SOUCI. Give me a call if you want to look at prices and to reserve. When will Secrets St James and Wild Orchid fully open and operational- i understand they are delayed.
Hey Kris J, As of March 20th the Secrets Wild Orchid opened but the Secrets St James opening was pushed back until April 20th. We haven’t heard anything new since this last update. Give me a call with your dates and we will see if we can get your vacation set up there. Usually when hotels first open we see some great introductory rates that we may never see again and I know the rates for these two properties has been very good lately. My only advice would be to not travel to either resort until at least 60 days after opening just so that they resorts have time to work out their “opening day kinks” that they always have.
I loved Cancun but unfortunately the Applevacations rep was never there according to her schedule her name was Luz and the day before i came back she showed up and she had an attitude towards me. Everything else was great.
We are sorry to hear that the Apple Rep located at your resort was not accessible, this is typically not the case. Apple Vacations prides themselves on their customer service so this is surprising to hear. We are going to cancun in Oct, was wondering your thoughts on Tempations? We are looking to have a good time, however don’t want to stay anywhere to raunchy. And haven’t heard much about the food.
Typically the Temptation resort would not be our first recomendation but it really depends on what you are looking for. If you know what to expect and have done some research on that property, you may like it. You could also look at the Golden Parnassus which is also adult only. Looking to book a honeymoon in the riviera maya area Oct4-9. I see that secrets have a six apple deal but I hear the beach at the silversand is not the best. It seems like on the deals alot of people get s/s over secrets or maroma. I am leaning to the maroma but it is alot higher then the deal. Not sure of taking the chance to get the Maroma. What are the chances?

we are considering taking a vacation with several friends this december. However we are on a limited budget for the all inclusive resort we stay at. We are looking for a nice swimmable beach. Do you have any recommendationson the best hotels to stay at with these things in mind. We are open to anywhere in carribean or mexico. We have not yet decided on a location
