We enjoyed a great excursion, snorkeling in Jamaica not long ago. On my Jamaica vacation my husband and I stayed at the lovely Iberostar Rose Hall Suites in Montego Bay, Jamaica. During our week long trip, we were able to take a catamaran snorkeling excursion off-site. The pick-up was not far from our hotel, so we were picked up in the lobby and taken to the pier to be whisked away to sea. Once on water snacks and beverages were served up with some cool Caribbean beats. We lounged on the catamaran until we reached the reef where we were allowed to snorkel either along side a guide, or at our leisure.

After we had finished snorkeling, we were taken to the seaside Senor Frogs in Negril, where we could order lunch, grab a drink, or use their super fun water trampoline. After Senor Frogs we were taken back to shore and then back to the hotel, just in time for a fabulous Iberostar night.  It was so much more than just snorkeling in Jamaica!

The last island on our once-in-a-lifetime Hawaii vacation adventure, was the Island of Oahu. Oahu is home to Honolulu, Waikiki, North Shore, and so much more. On this island, our favorite times were driving up to the North Shore, where sugar cane fields lead you to a surfers paradise. Sitting on sunset beach and enjoying a Wailua Wheat was definitely a highlight, and then on the trip back to Waikiki Beach, where our hotel–the Hilton Hawaiian Village– was, we would stop in at LaniKai.

Another highlight from one of our trips to North Shore was the Polynesian Cultural Center. There we were able to learn about the history and culture of native Hawaii.

However, the most fun times in Oahu were being on the Waikiki strip. My husband and I enjoyed going out to dinner at the restaurants and exploring the nightlife. Thanks to a recommendation from a client, we made a point to try Puka Dogs one day and ended up having them twice! What a yummy local flavor!

Sadly, this was our last island and it was time to go home. In all, we enjoyed the trip so much. The only changes I could make is to have stayed longer. Maybe next time!
