• Casino: Opens in July from 7 pm to 3 am and is only for guests. Roulette, slot machines, poker, Caribbean poker and black jack are offered. Complimentary transportation is available to a nearby casino.
• Basketball, bocce-ball, volleyball, billiards, darts, ping-pong, tennis courts, horseback riding (additional charge), beach soccer, bicycling, croquet, board games, archery, aerobics, water aerobics, step aerobics, yoga, mini soccer table and giant chess.
• Catamarans, scuba diving introduction in pool, canoeing, windsurfing, sun fishing, and snorkeling.
• Explorer’s Club for kids (ages 3-12): Huge playground area, next to the reception area. Covered, enclosed area with a game room, television, kitchenette, little stage. Children participate in supervised activities such as a dino dig, arts & crafts, pirate ship waterslide, a weekly campout adventure where kids have the option of sleeping in tents at the club or on the beach, ocean trampoline and a climbing iceberg in the main pool. Pagers will be provided for parents in case they need to be contacted. *In the Dominican Republic there is no certification program. However, we require that all babysitters are CPR certified and completely bilingual.
• Spanish classes, dancing lessons, cooking classes, painting, ceramics, theme nights, weekly Dominican markets, manager cocktail parties and weekly beach dinners are offered with the weather permitting. Also, Desires music lounge is open from 11 pm until 2:00 am.
