Ocean Maya Royale is an All-Inclusive beachfront resort surrounded by extensive tropical landscaping of hibiscus and bougainvillea. Each of the 320 air-conditioned rooms is housed within a two-story bungalow unit, with eight rooms per bungalow.

Guests will find themselves captivated by the dazzling landscape of the surrounding garden areas, while the wide selection of land and water sports is sure to please. Other features include nightly entertainment, domestic brand drinks.

Beach: Very rocky.

Entertainment: Could be better.

Overall: Great resort overall. Very happy.

Chelsea

Pool: There were two pools, one with a bar (party pool) and one that was a bit bigger and and a deep end and a very shallow end for lounging. Both pools were super clean, and very warm.

Beach: This resort had done a nice job with the beach.The ocean maya beach was small, but it was much nicer than the other resorts' nearby.

Food/Drink: The first night we were there, we ate at the Italian restaurant that just recently re-opened. It was so good that we asked three different people if this really was a part of the all inclusive package. It was too good to be true!!!

Entertainment: The best part were the late night games at the main lobby. My boyfriend and I won "couple of the week" with a bottle of champagne and a t-shirt. We felt very special!!

Accommodations: The hotel was very clean. The mini fridge was stocked everyday with water and beer and some pop. The bed was very hard, but it was not a big deal. The balcony was pretty close to the neighbors, but everyone was friendly and having a great time.

Service: Very good. We had some issues with language barriers, but hey, we were American's in Mexico... c'mon!

Overall: I had the best vacation ever. So romantic, so much fun. Very laid back. Not a worry in the world. I am saving up for when I can do this again. I will never go on a regular vacation again. All inclusive is un-beatable!
