You may think you're arriving at one of the many ancient Mayan ruins in the Riviera Maya, but you’ve actually just arrived at your hotel, the Iberostar Paraiso Maya. The full size Mayan temple that welcomes you is a greeting you won’t soon forget. Be sure to grab a drink as you pass by the Snake bar, located directly under the Maya pyramid, this resort entrance is one of a kind.

The lobby is a Mayan paradise, complete with large wooden statues and even the check in desk is Mayan inspired. A fruity welcome drink will refresh you as you make your way through the lush jungle paths of the resort. Say hello to the occasional iguana sunning himself on a stone as your bellman will point out the concierge dedicated to your building. With 5 specialty restaurants in this all inclusive resort, a quick visit with your concierge will allow you to make all of your dining reservations with ease.

As you arrive in your junior suite, you’ll be greeted with festive towel animals left by the maids. Your complimentary minibar will be fully stocked, so stick your passports in the safe, grab a cold drink and relax for a few minutes as you enjoy the hammock on your balcony. With 24 hour room service, you don’t even have to leave the room!

For a refreshing start, head to any one of the Iberostar Paraiso Maya’s 8 pools. After a long day of traveling, the water will welcome you. A relaxing ride down the lazy river will start your vacation off right but this family friendly resort won’t let you relax for too long, the wave pool starts at the beginning of the hour. After pool basketball and volleyball, make your way to the lake style main pool, where the swim-up bar awaits. A fruity cocktail will be just what you need.

The Iberostar Paraiso Maya boasts one of the best kids clubs in Mexico. With scheduled activities from morning until evening, Lucy’s club will keep even the most bashful of children occupied all day. With trips to the lazy river and wave pool during the day and a mini disco in the evening, you kids will be begging you for more time with the Star Friends!

For some morning relaxation, take a walk up this stunning beach. The sugary white powder will have you throwing off your shoes in no time. The quiet sound of the waves on the shore is a welcome break from the excitement of mid-day. Grab a palapa for a nice breezy oasis from the warm rays of sun. With a book and a Margarita, you’ll be napping before you know it. But don’t nap too long, with nonmotorized watersports included, you can grab a kayak or Hobie cat and hit those turquoise waves. Before winding down at the nightly show, a visit to the weekly Paella beach party is a must. But make sure you’re hungry, because just like the restaurants this all inclusive resort won’t let your belly rumble.

From golfing the PB Dye Playa Paraiso Course to a relaxing massage at the spa, the Iberostar Paraiso Maya offers the best in relaxation and entertainment in Mexico. This Riviera Maya diamond is too good to pass up!

Iberostar Paraíso Maya is designed to fulfill your every expectation, from spacious rooms all suites to attentive concierge service and every imaginable activity, to our 24-hour amenities, entertainment , drinks and fine dining. The holiday complex is perfectly integrated into the tropical landscape. Attractive lobby and main restaurant (with show cooking). The complex has 5 specialities restaurants, a pool bar and 4 more bars. Night club, discotheque. Imaginatively-designed pool area with separate children's pool and extensive sunbathing area (sun loungers, parasols and towels free of charge). Also shops, supermarket and hairdressers. Access to the Internet for an extra charge.

2010/2011 Golf Promotion

For travel thru the night of 12/23/10, one round of golf per person per day is included on a complimentary basis for guests that are traveling for a minimum of 3 nights. The Golf course is 18 holes and designed by P.B. Dye. Restrictions apply. The use of a cart is mandatory and there is a charge of approx $49 per person per round. Pre-twilight tee times have an additional surcharge of approx $30 per person. Guests have access to complimentary course food and beverage service provided by the Golf Course. Tee times can be booked up to 60 days prior via e-mail at golfparaiso@iberostar.com.mx. A credit card may be required when doing so. If guests wish to cancel or reschedule their tee times, they must do with with at least 24 hours notice in order to avoid a $100 no-show penalty which could be charged to their credit card on file.

Iberostar Hotels and Resorts officially opened the new 18-hole, par 72 Playa Paraiso Gold Club golf course at its Iberostar Paraiso Maya Resort on the Riviera Maya. The P.B. Dye designed course joins nine others on the Riviera Maya and Cozumel belonging to the Mexican Caribbean Golf Association, of which Iberostar is a founding member.
